SECOND ROUND OF RED BULL STREET STYLE HITS THE NEWCASTLE, UK
Last weekend, the second stop of the Red Bull Street Style UK qualifiers took place in Newcastle at the historic Baltic Flour Mill, located on the south banks of the River Tyne.
With skills sessions taking place throughout the day, teaching newcomers to the scene how to improve their ball skills, and live grafitti illustration taking place outside, 7 of the top freestylers from the north region waited in eager anticipation for the battles to begin.
At 5pm the judging panel consisting of Rocket (Soccer AM), Nam the Man, and b-boy Flowrex, took their positions and MC L Double led the competitors through a league format of battles for the top 4 freestylers to win their way in to the semis.
Essex outsider Alex Palmer took the top spot in the final in a tough battle against Craig Gorey and Rowen Pegler took 3rd place against Majiek Bergiel in the third place run off.

With only 2 stops left to qualify for the national final in London on 21st November the competition is hotting up. The next stop of the UK qualifiers will hit in Nottingham City Centre on Saturday 24th October.
