BRAZILIAN FREESTYLERS BACK ON THE SCENE

Get to know the 16 best freestylers qualified to the Red Bull Street Style National Finals in Porto Alegre.

Brazil already knows their 16 participants who will battle the Red Bull Street Style National Finals, on November 15th, in Porto Alegre. Coming from nine different states, the best freestylers will battle for the right to represent their country in the World Finals in South Africa, in 2010.

Ballers from the states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Espírito Santo, Pernambuco, Bahia, Ceará, Pará, Rio Grande do Sul and Paraná, integrate brazilian freestyle soccer elite team, qualified to the battle in the main city of southern Brazil. Among them, Murilo Pitol comes to the capital of the state of Rio Grande do Sul as the “one to be beaten”. The 18 year old freestyler is not only the defending brazilain champion, but also placed 3rd in the first edition of Red Bull Street Style World Finals, in São Paulo, in 2008.

Only the greatest player - the one with best ball control, creativity and style - will get the chance to defend the green-yellow coloured flag in South África.
