RED BULL STREET STYLE ENTERTAINS AL JAHRA

- 5 Ballers Reach the Final –

For the second year in a row, Red Bull Street Style visited Slayil Al Jahra Resort in a mission to search for the best freestyler in Kuwait. Hundreds of Al Jahra residents and freestyle fans gathered to cheer for their freestyle soccer heroes.

21 vibrant Freestylers ranging in age from 12 to 20 displayed all their skills and pulled some of their best tricks and gave the fans what they have been waiting for. Each brought his unique style and talent to the competition field with creative skills such as flips, stalls, pancakes as well as “The Teaze” which is stalling the ball on the neck than grabbing the collar of the T-shirt and removing the shirt without the ball dropping.

Only five Freestylers made it to the finals and they are as follows: Obeid Fahed, Fahed Al Einzey, Askar Al Chemari, Sami Eid and Fahed Rakan. They will join the 5 others who have already qualified from the first qualifying to the national final.

Few days are left as the search for the best soccer freestyler continues. Red Bull Street Style is giving a chance for one skilled soccer freestyler to represent Kuwait at the Worldwide Freestyle Soccer Contest that will take place on April 2010 at Cape Town, South Africa.
The next Red Bull Street Style qualifier will take place on Thursday 19th of November at the Marina (Basketball Court) at 5:00pm.
