Unfortunately we are not very good at the 11-aside game, although our footballers are widely regarded to be skillful players with flair.

The search is on to find the most skillful freestyle footballer to represent Singapore at the Red Bull Streetstyle World Finals 2010 in South Africa.

Red Bull will comb the island to unearth the hidden talents that have slipped through the system and kick start a new form of football craze in the Lion City.

If we do this right, we hope to start a new wave of street freestyle football craze in Singapore and the Southeast Asia region, and Red Bull will become synonymous with the skillful art of freestyle football.

With the RBSS World Finals being held in South Africa just before the Fifa World Cup Finals in 2010, we are sure that there will be massive interest in this event and hence we can get some fabulous coverage if Singapore has a representative at the World Finals.

We can't compete in the full sided game due to our smaller physique, but in freestyle football where size does not matter, we hope to show that even the smallest country in the world can produce skillful ball wizards who can put Singapore on the world football map.
