INHABITANT OF MARSEILLE CHARAF WINS
The first Red Bull Street Style local qualifying step took place on Friday June 26th at the Borely Escale in Marseille, during the Orange Massilia Freestyle Cup, the main extreme and urban sports event. In front of a won over audience, Charaf, 27 years old and inhabitant of Marseille, succeeded by very little on Alice,one of the rare female freestylers in France.

Six of them had been selected thanks to their video posted on www.redbullstreetstyle.com http://www.redbullstreetstyle.com/. Six other competitors had qualified during the preliminary round before the contest and the last 4 ones were invited by the World Champion of the discipline, Séan.
On the third march, following Charaf and Alice was standing Fahem, an 18 years old inhabitant of Bordeaux stealing the last march of the podium to Alain, 23 from Nice.
All of them have qualified for the national final that will take place at the end of the year after three other local selections in Bordeaux, Nancy and Paris.
Among the judges was the AS Monaco and International Under21player Yohan Mollo, 19 years old.
“We are almost 10 female freestylers at this level in France so I am particularly happy to win the second place today. Hopefully I will do a good performance at the National Final in Paris. To go and challenge Séan in South Africa would be such a great experience!” said Alice at the end of the competition.
