BOLIVIA IS CLOSER TO THE RED BULL STREET STYLE 2010 IN SOUTH AFRICA

On Sunday November 15th the best freestylers from Bolivia will battle for the country sport in the Freestyle futbol world championship that will be held next year in South Africa.

The appointment for the Red Bull Street Style Bolivian National Final is on November 15th in the Manzana 1 in Santa Cruz City. At 14:00 h the best national freestylers will battle on-to-one to become the best freestyler in the country and participate in the Red Bull Street Style World final that will be held in April in Cape Town South Africa.

The participants for the national final 2009 in Santa Cruz were pre-selected and come from the main cities in the country: Randy Muller & Cristian Hidalgo (2007 National Champion) from Cochabamba; Rodrigo Irahola, Marvin Rodriguez & Johany Duran from Santa Cruz, and Rodrigo Conde Ramirez & Wilmer Huanca from La Paz. Jose Laime, who participated in the World Final in Sao Paulo in 2008, completes the list and is ready to defend his national title.

All of them will battle one-to-one in 3-minute rounds using their best techniques and creativity to dominate de ball and perform freestyle tricks at the rhythm of the music. The jury composed by Milton Melgar (ex-capitan from the Bolivian soccer selection, player in the world cup and ex-player in River Plate and Boca Juniors), the sports journalist Fernando Numberg and B-Boy Blass (breakdancer and participant in the Red Bull BC One 2004) will be in charge to evaluate the style, control and creativity. The winner will pass to the next round and the looser will be eliminated from the contest. Only one baler will represent Bolivia in the World Final in Cape Town in South Africa.
