Eduardas Butiuto a high school graduate from Trakai with Brazilian sounding surname is the first winner of Lithuanian freestyle football tournament. 18 years ball wizard will represent Lithuania in “Red Bull Street Style” World Final in 2010 April.

In Kaunas railway station Butiuto beat his twelve opponents and put on well-earned “Red Bull Street Style” winner’s chain. He hopes to show some skills against competitors from 52 countries in Cape Town too.

“My objective in The World’s final is to be in the sixteen best. The competition in South Africa is only in April, so I still have plenty of time to train hard”, - said Eduardas.

Fully packed like in rush hours the main passengers’ hall of Kaunas railway station warmly welcomed all freestylers. Although, the most sympathies were dedicated to the youngest participant 10 years Klaudijus and the only girl in the field Kamile.

The freestylers were judged by the best Lithuanian football A league player 2007 brazilian Rafael Ledesma, one of the best country’s bboys Lau and sport journalist & football commentator Gediminas Reklaitis.

“I understand that this is show but football is played with legs so use a bit more”, - suggested Ledesma to participants.

“You have to use things around you – whether it’s a cap, headscarf or pen – it will help you to get noticed from the field”, - said bboy Lau.

It‘s the first year Lithuania is joining the “Red Bull Street Style” community and Eduardas Butiuto will be first our flagman in South Africa. Hoping not the last in competition.
