Football in Zahle on Red Bull Street Style’s way

After Ehden, Red Bull Street Style visited Zahle for the second qualifier round which took place on October 11, before moving to Beirut for the finals. The level of performance was very high with many youth competitors showing their best. The competition was exciting and only the best of the participants made it through to the final.

3 minutes, 2 players, 1 ball: In each “battle”, two players square off in a one-on-one duel against each other. They take alternating 20-second turns with the ball, using their time to show-off the best of their artistic moves to the sounds of break-dance and hip-hop music. In the finals, the judges will be evaluating the three minutes flow based on control, creativity and style. The winner advances to the next round. There are no limits; other than the standard prohibition on the use of hands and a requirement that the ball and performer stay within a 7-metre wide (27-foot) competition area.

30 participants, between 10 & 17 years old, were competing in Zahle qualifier, in front of the judges and on the presence of DJ Lethal Skills. Only 11 of them were chosen to participate at the finals which will take place in Beirut, this November. The competitors were excited and enthusiastic, doing their best to show their skills. It is worth to mention that 11 participants were also chosen from Ehden qualifier to compete in Red Bull Street Style finals in Lebanon.
